Department of Computer Science and Engineering

HOD's Desk

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Mookambigai College of Engineering, Pudukkottai.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1985.

I believe that the Computer Science and Engineering discipline has been widely recognized as an essential source and technique for the advancements in all spheres of human Endeavour now and in future. The mission of Computer Science and Engineering department is to foster high quality education and improve problem solving skills, leadership qualities, team spirit with ethical responsibilities by practising on latest technological developments. The department has been started in the year 1985 and as of now it offers an undergraduate programme B.E (Computer Science and Engineering) and a Post graduate programme M.E (Computer Science and Engineering). The department has well qualified Faculty members with rich teaching and industry experience.

Our students undertake internships in leading MNCs and are placed in reputed organizations across the globe. Some of our Alumni have grown to great heights and they constantly interact with the department. We strive to provide students the necessary ambience to embellish their knowledge and skills to achieve their long term goals.

Thank you.
