HIGHWAY LABORATORY
Highway Engineering is the study of the process of design and construction of efficient and safe highways and roads. This field that originated from the discipline of civil engineering became important in the 20th century, with highway engineering standards constantly being improved. Concepts such as grade, surface texture, visibility, as well as horizontal bend radii and vertical slope related to design speed are important elements in the field of highway engineering. Highway engineering laboratory encompasses knowledge in practical form through experiments conducted based on concepts and theories learned in class. The emphasis of the course is on methods of conducting experiments, knows the techniques to characterize various pavement materials through relevant tests and understanding its relationship to learning theory. It is a teaching and research laboratory equipped to conduct standard tests for asphalt pavement design for undergraduate teaching, as well as advanced research oriented experiments for assessing the engineering properties and behaviours of new paving materials.

Water and Waste Water Analysis Laboratory
This Laboratory presents environmental significance, practical applications of water quality test, sampling techniques and also standards of water for various uses. well-arranged tests in Lab - dealing with some major water and waste water quality parameters of physical, chemical and biological.
Equipments: Digital Turbidity meter, Digital PH meter, Conductivity meter, Flame photometer, UV / Visible Spectrophotometer, Controlled Stirring Apparatus for Jar Tests, BOD & COD Analyser, Auto Clave for sterilization, Laminar Flow Cabinet.
CE3361 – SURVEYING AND LEVELING LABORATORY
Surveying is the art of determining the relative positions of different features on, above or beneath the surface of the earth by means of direct or indirect measures of distance, direction and elevation and finally representing them on a sheet of paper known as plan or map.
Surveying Lab offers additional experience in fundamental land surveying measurement methods for surveying courses, including precision steel taping methods to perform horizontal measurements, digital theodolites to perform angular measurements and traditional and automatic levels for elevation measurements.
The laboratory of Surveying is well equipped with all the required instruments and tools that are helpful in the overall understanding and practical knowledge of a student. Students learn techniques for gathering field data with both traditional and modern instruments.
Furthermore, students have opportunity to use total station equipment, which enables horizontal, vertical and angular measurements to be made in one operation.
