Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mookambigai College of Engineering, Pudukkottai. Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1997.The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is dedicated to shaping future engineers. With a team of committed faculty, the department provides a strong foundation in electrical and electronic engineering principles.The heart of the EEE department lies in its dedicated faculty. Comprised of experienced and passionate educators, they are committed to instilling a deep understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles in their students. Laboratory

Electrical Machines Laboratory

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has a well-established Electrical Machines laboratory comprising of more than fifty machines, at a cost of Rupees sixty three lakhs, spread over 3800 sqft. area. This laboratory, fed by Modern electronic regulated power supply, facilitates numerous value added experiments in addition to meeting the courseware objectives and curriculum requirements. The infrastructural facilities are utilized by the students for UG/PG projects apart from regular laboratory schedule.

Power Electronics Laboratory

The power electronics lab enhances the EEE students by providing them the better understanding of the concepts and working of advanced power semiconductor devices and power electronics circuits. It consists of different kinds of demo kits such as single phase and three phase converters, Step up and step down choppers. The lab is equipped with all the power electronic converters, triggering circuits, Power supplies ,CRTs.

Department Library

Department is dedicated to offering professional courses along with quality training that would help each of our students ensure a secured and successful career for themselves with advanced technology and student-centric facilities. We also provide our students with a well-equipped central library that serves as a world of knowledge.

Our departmental library holds books and journals that cater not only to the syllabus but also nurture the inclination toward research among our students. The library has a seating capacity of 20 readers.
